With the aim to provide digitally advanced solutions to its account holders, Bank Nizwa, an Oman-based Islamic bank has launched Whatsapp banking service, to cater to its existing and potential customers across the globe.

To avail of the bank’s new Whatsapp banking service, a customer needs to add the Whatsapp banking number, +968 24 655 555, from his or her registered mobile number to get started. Once added to the contact database, the customer can start a chat to get an immediate response.
The new service supports making queries related to Bank Nizwa products and services 24*7, and from anywhere in Oman or abroad. The service also provides FAQs for all products, including bank account, credit and debit card, loans and financing, and vehicle takaful, among others.
Bank Nizwa efforts in the FinTech field are evident today in the bank’s efforts of integrating technology with Islamic banking, which enables customers to bank from the comfort of their homes.
