Financial Inclusion: CeBIH calls for collaboration among stakeholders

Chairman CeBIH, Mr. Stanley Jacob

The Committee of e-Business Industry Heads has called for effective collaboration among stakeholders in the financial sectors to [CeBIH] drive forward financial inclusion.

CeBIH comprises upper echelon of electronic business industry practitioners in all banks in Nigeria. Its major objective is to promote electronic banking services in line with global best practices.

The industry experts said it’s imperative for stakeholders in the sector to partner in order to bringing financial services to the unbanked and underbanked.

The team made this admonition when they paid a courtesy visit to financial software solutions company, SystemSpecs office in Lagos.

The chairman of CeBIH, Stanley Jacob, said financial inclusion was beyond banking and every stakeholder was important.

Managing Director SystemSpecs, John Obaro said the banks must form strategic partnership with innovative fintechs in the industry to move the sector forward.

“No Fintech, no matter how good, can do it alone. We need to embrace the power of collaboration”, Obaro said.
